Background	Product description: Human IGF2, The insulin-like growth factors possess growth-promoting activity. In vitro, they are potent mitogens for cultured cells. IGF-II is influenced by placental lactogen and may play a role in fetal development.　 Residues 25-180 of human IGF2 were cloned, the protein was over-expressed in HEK293EBNA1 cells and was purified to homogeneity. The calculated molecular weight of recombinant human IGF2 is 19.0 kDa. The protein contains a N-terminal hexahistidine tag.
