当試薬はフローサイトメトリーや蛍光顕微鏡を用いた蛍光抗体法において、ヒトFc receptor (FcR) を介した細胞-抗体間の非特異反応を抑制します。また、normal goat IgGによりgoat由来の2次抗体による非特異反応も抑制します。T-Select MHC Tetramer染色時においてもClear Backを用いることで、マクロファージなどのエンドサイトーシスによる非特異的染色を抑制する効果が期待されます。
