Background Helicobacter pylori (H.pylori), a gram-negative, microaerophilic bacterium produces the urease and lives in the stomach. It is said that most people infected with H.pylori cause gastritis and peptic ulcers because H.pylori damages the stomach wall and reduces the mucus. This monoclonal antibody (clone: TMDU-D8) can detect for H.pylori not only in the mucous layer but also in the lamina propria.
